Reminders
- All sections for tutoring will be available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
- The M.E.T.S. Charter School Student Council will meet after school every Monday in room 201. All are welcome! Please see Mr. Urbankowski or Mr. Flannery if you have any questions.
- Art Club Meeting Mondays in Room 5 Mondays and Tuesdays
- Robotics Club! Meetings are every Tuesday after school in Robotics Lab.
- Science Leaders of the Future Club! Will meet every Thursday after school in RM: 208 (Mrs. Mendes room). Please email Ms. Medeiros/Mrs. Mendes with any questions.
- Yearbook Club meets on Tuesdays after school from 3:10 to 3:45 in room 102. See Ms. Georges with questions.
- Film and Video Club will meet on Thursday in Room 4 at 3PM
- Run Club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:30 pm in room 103. In order to participate, you must have a completed medical form submitted to Mr. Nichol or Mrs. Bouchard.
- Chess and Board Games Club will have its meetings every Thursday after school (excluding half days and holidays) from 3:05 - 4:05 in Room 207. Please see Mr. Castanheira with any questions.
Today's Announcements:
- The Class of 2020 will be selling short sleeve Mustang Mentality shirts in royal blue. $10 per shirt. See Ms. Casella to order.
- Dear M.E.T.S. Students, we have an exciting announcement to make. At the end of fourth quarter we will be having an Ice Cream Social for all students that: 1. have had no unexcused absences during Fourth quarter, 2. also have no tardies to school. Students will be presented with a certificate for their accomplishment as well as will be able to participate in the festivities one afternoon in June - Mrs. Nieves.
- ART AND FASHION SHOW, MAY 23, 5 PM - 7 PM IN THE GYM, FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME
- During the week of Fashion Week, May 20-24, 2019, we are hosting a theme based dress down: Monday- Twin Day (dress like your favorite teacher or student), Tuesday- Retro (70s, 80s, 90s), Wednesday- Celebrity (Dress like a celebrity), Thursday- Dress to Impress (Couture), Friday - White & Denim, Tickets are $7 for 5 days & $2 per day.
- The Final Open Mic Event will be Friday May 24th during 11/12th period. Tickets for spectators are $5 and must be bought in advance. You don't want to miss this one! There is only 70 tickets available! Get them while they last!! If you would like to perform, please see Mr. Messenger or Mr. Wilson. For tickets see Mr. Messenger.
