As a Technology Facilitator and Level 2 Google Certified Educator, I support teachers as they integrate technology into the district curriculum. I've taught third grade for 12 years and will begin my second year at the district office. With a M.S. degree in Instructional Media, I am an educational specialist who guides teachers as they engage our students in 21st century learning, while combining rigor with the latest technologies.
I am a member of the Arizona Technology in Education Association (AzTea), the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and the East Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (EVHCC).
M.S. Instructional Media
I pursued my masters degree with Wilkes University - Mesa in 2015. The Instructional Media program has played a huge role in my recent success. Everything I have learned and created has had an impact on my students. Each week I have taken what I've learned and used it directly with my students, or with teachers I am supporting. My blog, Taking it to the Next Level, showcases lessons and reflections throughout the journey.
