About Me

As a Technology Facilitator and Level 2 Google Certified Educator, I support teachers as they integrate technology into the district curriculum. I've taught third grade for 12 years and will begin my second year at the district office. With a M.S. degree in Instructional Media, I am an educational specialist who guides teachers as they engage our students in 21st century learning, while combining rigor with the latest technologies.

I am a member of the Arizona Technology in Education Association (AzTea), the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and the East Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (EVHCC).

M.S. Instructional Media

I pursued my masters degree with Wilkes University - Mesa in 2015. The Instructional Media program has played a huge role in my recent success. Everything I have learned and created has had an impact on my students. Each week I have taken what I've learned and used it directly with my students, or with teachers I am supporting. My blog, Taking it to the Next Level, showcases lessons and reflections throughout the journey.

Throughout my program, I was honored to be a graduate assistant with the Dean of Education, Dr. Rhonda Rabbitt. This video highlights the growth I have made through this opportunity.

Take a Look

This Tic-Tac-Toe board was created to address the multiple personalities of students, while including technology.

Attendance Matters is a PSA explaining why attendance is important. Created with iMovie and hosted on YouTube, video editing tools allow for creativity and storytelling.

This lesson was created using ThingLink. It allows students to interact with the content through links, videos, and pop-ups.

This Prezi lesson includes videos, images, and audio to help support and guide my students through their first part of their rock investigation. Students learn differently and it's important to include various types of media in lessons.
