My New Red Shoes Portland

As Portland’s popularity and economy rapidly grows, does income inequality and the number of families living in poverty.

Leveraging our success in the SF Bay Area, My New Red Shoes expanded to the Portland area in 2015, serving students in Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas counties.

Since then, we have provided new shoes and clothing to more than 2,000 homeless and low-income students through our Clothing for Confidence Program.

To reach the children and families with the fewest resources, we partner with local shelters, transitional housing organization, community service organizations, schools and education districts to serve students in need.

In 2018, our Portland Clothing for Confidence Program has grown to include 9 partner programs: Impact NW - Shine Programs, Impact NW - SUN Programs, Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization, My Father's House, Northwest Housing, Portland Public School Migrant Education, Butternut Creek Elementary School, McKinney Elementary School, and Love, Inc.

Together we will help to close the clothing gap for more than 1,000 homeless and low-income students at the start of the 2018-2019 school year.
