La vie en Rouge life through red colored glasses

PHOTOGRAPHY BY DON DILLON
I see life as beautiful. Every interaction holds a potential for joy, surprise, and laughter.
My glasses were named after my hometown, Holbrook, Arizona. I seek to convey a sense of home and shared humanity through my photography in Havana, Tokyo, and Mexico City.

"Could I take a portrait of you wearing my glasses?" I never would have imagined that so many different individuals would wholeheartedly welcome the moment to interact and play along on this photography project. The project opened the opportunity to connect, to laugh, and to monumentalize the moment through photography.
