Racoons Are Lit By: Michael Cafiero

This video shows you how raccoons are not as vicious as they seem.

When people think of raccoons, they think of filthy beasts that are nasty and just eat your garbage. Well they are very smart creatures. They are nocturnal. In the winter they sleep for extended periods, they do not completely hibernate though. They store an extra layer of fat for the winter. Raccoons love to eat: fruits, seeds, nuts, birds' eggs and plants. Raccoons are also excellent swimmers, hunting fish, frogs, and crayfish. They could maybe be an olympic swimmer.

Raccoons live in almost every part of the world. They can live in any climate. Raccoons are not as vicious as they seem. They give trust to people, studies show they have of trust it is that people think they are mean. They have very big claws that help them climb trees.
There life span is not very long. If a a raccoon is in the wild they can live up to 2-3 years. If the raccoon is in captivity it can live up to 20 years.
Raccoons hunt on the ground. They usually hunt by themselves. They hunt in the water and have very quick reactions to catch the fish.
