J. “Curly” Speegle the former lead guitarist for Leon Russell and is also regarded among many as one of the greatest slide players in the south. J Curley has teamed up Rivers Ramsey on harmonica to create a "True Blues Power Duo" in the tradition of Muddy & Little Walter. This duo hits your "Blues Button" right in the Delta when J Curley brings his Roots/Blues/Rock slippery Muscle Shoals sound from Alabama, while Rivers bends the harmonica from his years playing the Texas/Louisiana Crawfish Swamp circuit.

J. Curly Speegle’s extensive touring career includes his role as lead guitarist and vocalist for Leon Russell for several years. He has also lent his talents to Eddie Hinton, Taylor Hicks, Adam Hood, Damon Johnson, Grammy Award winner O’teil Burbridge (Allman Brothers, Oteil and The Peacemakers), Stacy Mitchhart, John McEuen and Kenny Olson (Kid Rock, Experience Hendrix). J. Curly has shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Dave Mason, Bob Dylan, Sonny Landreth, Johnny Winter, John Lee Hooker, Jr., Pinetop Perkins, Hubert Sumlin, Government Mule, Shooter Jennings and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

East Texas musician Rivers grew up playing the Texas & Louisiana nightclubs with notables Jerry LaCroix-(Sang for Edgar Winter, Blood, Sweat & Tears and Rare Earth), Zak Perry (Austin Texas singer/songwriter), Tab Benoit, Scott McGill and Mike Zito. Mixing traditional acoustic harmonica rhythms of "Sonny Boy Williamson" with the Amped up Chicago sound of "Little Walter", Rivers draws in his Swamp/Zydeco years to create a true southern blues experience.
