I love to photograph the unspoken connections between my couples. It starts with me developing an authentic bond with you two, getting to know what makes the electricity spark between you guys. Then I aim to tell your story in an unique way that is meaningful to you. I value authenticity so I want your photos to reflect the true you.

Couples that chose to work with me are passionate about life and each other. There won't be any of that stiff awkward poses because let’s be honest, those aren't the images that make your heart skip a beat. I love seeing the genuine, quirky, teasing, unique love that you have. I want to capture the in-betweens, the moments when no one is watching. Every photograph I make is a piece of a bigger story, crafted with legacy in mind, because your story matters.

Your Couples Portrait Experience

You contact me. You tell me you that you want photos of you and your partner celebrating the love you have for each other. Whether it be engagement photos, at-home couples session, anniversary session, or a proposal, I adore getting to photograph the two of you. Let's chat on the phone or by Skype, or even better - in person - so we can get to know each other better. Let's make sure that we connect both with personality and vision. After you book, I send you a questionnaire and you fill me in on what you are envisioning for your experience. I listen. I answer all your questions and guide you every.step.of.the.way to make sure that we create something memorable and tell the greater story that surpasses the visual and relates the emotions within each moment. I will help you with logistics beforehand regarding location options & attire. This way once it's time for your session, all you have to do is relax and enjoy the experience. I will be guiding you in finding picture perfect spots, as well as giving you guidance in your interactions so we capture none of the fluff, and all of the real stuff. Prepare to be honest + vulnerable. This is the only way I can capture your true dynamic as a family or as your unique self.

We will then schedule your reveal & ordering appointment within 2 weeks of your session at my home office in St Pete where you will get to view a slideshow of 40-50 edited images, chose your favorites, see all the different product options in person and I will guide you in choosing the perfect artwork to show off the images from portrait experience. If you traveled great distances to me, or me to you for your session, no worries, we will plan a special Skype reveal. If you purchase digital downloads, they will be delivered at the conclusion of your reveal. Expect 3-4 weeks for any custom art that you ordered to be delivered to you.

The Process

A signed client agreement and paid creative retainer are needed to reserve your couples portrait experience. All artwork and digitals can be purchased separately at your reveal & ordering appointment. On average, my couples portrait clients invest between $650 - $1500 for their custom couples experience.

After your session, at your reveal & ordering appointment, you have the option to purchase a digital collection. I understand that we live in a digital era and many of you want to make an image your profile or share a sneak peek with friends and family. Or maybe you want to make your own artwork as a gift for someone. That is why I offer digital collections.

Step Four: Travel

Stories are everywhere and so am I! Location can reflect the mood and tell the story of what makes you the person or family that you are. I want to make sure you’re surrounded by what you love. Whether that’s your own home or a foggy mountaintop, all that matters is that it’s you!

+ Any location outside of the 40-mile radius St Petersburg is subject to a travel fee of $0.58/mile extra round-trip and toll fees, for coverage of time, gas, and wear & tear on the vehicle.

+ Any travel that requires over 1.5 hours of driving will require a flat travel rate that is based on an estimate of travel costs for Tami Keehn and will be included in your initial client agreement. If the actual cost exceeds $100 over this amount, the client understands that they are subject to additional charges to cover these additional expenses.

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon should I book my session? I always say, "THE SOONER THE BETTER!" as I tend to fill up my schedule 2-3 months in advance. Weekends tend to fill up fastest. That doesn't mean I won't have a last minute cancellation where I may be able to schedule you in, but it's best to book in advance! So DON'T WAIT to email me!

Do you have a studio you shoot at? Since I love capturing and embracing the story of YOU, I prefer to shoot on-location at a spot reminiscent of who you are, instead of in a studio setting. Whether it be at your home or your favorite beach/park/coffee shop, we will make sure to discuss the best surroundings to tell your story.

How many images do you deliver? Every couples portrait session is different, but expect to receive between 40-50 edited images from your shoot.

Can you change my images to color, b&w, touch up a blemish, etc. after you have already edited the images? I do make sure to spend time after your photo shoot editing your images to make them “picture perfect”! But if you want to make some additional changes after your reveal, I am more than happy to provide vanity edits, for a minimal fee.

Do you have insurance? Yes! I have both liability and equipment insurance.

Do I have printing rights to my images? Yes, when you add on a digital download collection, you have the rights to make as many prints, wall art, or albums as you like and I recommend that you do! While ordering artwork from me will provide you with the professional grade quality, I'm happy to offer you some consumer lab recommendations.

Can I post my images online? Without a doubt yes, and I would be honored that you loved my work that much to share it with the world! Just make sure to tag & credit me and don't alter the images in any way!

When can I expect my images to be ready? You can expect to receive an email or call from me no later than 2 weeks out after your session to schedule your reveal and ordering appointment!

What payment methods do you accept? I take cash, check, Venmo or credit card

After my reveal and ordering appointment, can I still order more products or digitals at a later date? Unfortunately, no. Any images not purchased at your reveal will be deleted after your reveal session. If you are worried about financing, I do offer an option via PayPal credit - which is zero down, zero monthly payments, zero interest as long as you pay off the balance within 6-months. Best part is you get your products upfront!

I am ready to book! How do I secure couples session date? After our initial consultation, I will email you a client agreement and invoice for your retainer. Both a signed agreement and a paid retainer is needed to book your date.
