If she can’t control her anger, she’s sure that someone will get hurt even worse than Reeve was. Mary understands now that it’s not just that Reeve bullied her—it’s that he made her love him.The girls are up to the task. They’ll make Reeve fall in love with Lillia and then they will crush him, like he crushed Mary. But Lillia soon seems to realize that her and Reeves "relationship" is becoming something shes getting attached to.It’s the only way he’ll learn.Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth, burn for a burn. A broken heart for a broken heart.Once a fire is lit, the only thing you can do is let it burn!!

Personal Review:

After reading the last page of Burn for Burn, i was very disapointed in the end, i was left hanging an dwanted to know more. And Fire with Fire finally came out and provided some closure. The plot twist about Mary was mind-blowing, and the end left me terrified to see what Jenny and Siobhan have planned for these infuriatingly rash characters in the next book. i Recommend this book for 9th or 10th graders. although the plot is very easy to follow with each chapter being told from a different characters stand point, there is a few curse words used. other than that the book is great, there was never a dull moment and i couldn't wait to flip the next page.and finding out that Mary has her super natural talents adds an aspect of sci-fi. overall the book was great and i cant wait to read the next book in the series.

The swimming pool is a very significance picture because a lot happened between Lillia and reeve at the indoor swimming pool. That is here the base of their relationship formed, and that is the place where Lillia actually started to catch feelings for Reeve. That's where all the big events in their relationship took place and this places is a big part of the theme of the book. The glass with someone placing a pill in it symbolizes the event at homecoming, when the girls spiked Reeves drink and caused him to fall off of the stage and injure his leg, ending his college football career. The book is basically centered around this 1 event. And the girls went too go visit Reeve all of the time at the hospital and at that point that's when they felt at falt for his accident.
