Morrie says" Love each or perish" (Albom 91)

Morrie says" The fact is, there is no foundation, no secure ground, upon which people may stand today if isn't the family. It's become quite clear to me as I've been sick. If you don't have the support and love and caring and concern that you get from a family, you don't have much at love. Love is supremely important"(Albom 91).

If you don't know how to compromise, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. If you can't talk openly about what goes on between you, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. And if you don't have a common set of values in life, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. Your values must be alike. And the biggest one of those values, your belief in the importance of your marriage." (Albom 149).

This quote and represent morrie lesson on marriage. Morrie is basically telling Mitch you must communicate with your partner. When you realize your partner is important when you have someone stay up all night when you are coughing and can't sleep there is someone to comfort you.

Morrie says, " for a moment, i am sure she is going to thump on the floor. At the last instant, her assigned partner grabs her head and shoulders and yanks her up harshly. Whoa!'' several students yell. some clap. Morrie finally smiles" (Albom 61)

this quote shows that you need trust in your life. that if you don't trust anyone how will you ever know what to do you who to go with. For when you get married if you don't have trust you don't have a marriage. If you hanging off a cliff who are you going to trust to help you but if you don't trust anyone how would you get help.
