5. UR Nursing Lands at #35 in First National Ranking of DNP Programs

3. AACN Leader Visits School

Deborah Trautman, PhD, RN, FAAN, president and CEO of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), visited the school during National Nurses Week, taking time to meet with faculty and nurses before delivering an inspiring Commencement address to the school’s newest graduates.

2. Dean Kathy Rideout Reappointed to a Five-Year Term

Kathy H. Rideout, EdD, PPCNP-BC, FNAP, who has been a member of the UR Nursing faculty for the past 30 years, was reappointed to a five-year term as dean in May! Read the full story here.

1. UR Nursing Cracks Top 25 in NIH Funding Ranking

The school climbed 10 spots to No. 25 in the annual rankings of research funding from the National Institutes of Health! The NIH is the largest public funding source for biomedical research in the world, and the process for securing funding is extremely competitive.
