With the bases loaded, freshman Dillon Dingler hit a high chopper to the left side of the mound and collided with Minnesota first baseman Cole McDevitt, who dropped the game-ending putout, allowing two runs to cross the plate to end the game. Junior Kobie Foppe and senior Noah McGowan scored on the Gopher error.

Story of the 9th

Barnwell singles to right field.

Canzone singles to left field and advanced Barnwell to second.

Foppe reaches on a fielders choice, Barnwell finds third.

McGowan walks to load the bases.

Pohl singles to the left and brings Barnwell home to make it a one-run game.

Dingler short-chops to the pitcher and reaches on an error from the first baseman.

McGowan scores the game winning run for the Buckeyes!

Early On...

Adam Niemeyer threw six strikeouts in five innings of work.

Connor Pohl opened scoring by putting the Buckeyes on the board in the bottom of the second off a single to center field from Fishel.

Jacob Barnwell added an RBI to his season (22) on a ground ball that advanced Cowles to home plate.
Tyler Cowles scored the Buckeyes 2nd run of the afternoon.
Noah West singled to left-center to score Fishel and picked up his 7th RBI of the season
