Opening Weekend might have been a little delayed due to weather, but nothing can rain on this teams parade.

Daulton Jefferies made his California League debut look easy in the final game of the Ports vs. Quakes series. After giving up just two hits he went on to retire the final ten batters he faced. In four innings of work he gave up 2 hits, no runs, and struck out two.

Stockton took the lead early as Seth Brown hit a two-out solo homerun to right off Stockton native, Dean Kremer.

Evan Manarino took over for Jefferies in the fifth and retired the first five batters he faced. After a pair of doubles the Quakes tied the game 1-1.

A PINCH RUNNER, AN ATTEMPT TO STRETCH A SINGLE TO A DOUBLE, AND THE QUICK FEET OF SKYE BOLT CREATED A WALK OFF WIN FOR THE PORTS IN THE FINAL GAME OF THE SERIES.

⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️

The Ports ended their first homestand with a three game series vs the Modesto Nuts. Your Stockton Ports took the series 2 games to 1. Check out the highlights here!👇

AJ Puk made his California League debut in game one of the series and to say he was anything short of great would be just silly. He gave up two singles to start the game but then proceeded to retire the next seven batters faced.

Catcher Sean Murphy was nothing short of a star. He started off the scoring in the second with his first, yes first, homerun of the night. After a series of one-out singles and another Stockton homerun, Murphy lined one into left to secure his second Homerun of the night.

High Fives for all when you hit back-to-back 💣!

Coming into the game in the 5th to make his California League debut was Dustin Hurlbutt. He would go on to pick up the win after allowing two runs on four hits in three innings.

Chris Iriart is all smiles after hitting his first bomb of the season helping the Ports to a 8-3 win over the Modesto Nuts.

Back-to-back triples from Bolt and Gilbert made it a 4-2 ballgame. A sac fly from Branden Cogswell would bring home Bolt and score the final run of the game.
