My Vision freshman Class of 2021

What does true happiness look like?

True happiness to me looks like everyone bringing each other up and being positive in hard situations. Making people smile and not caring about what others think about you. Accepting you and your peers are the key to happiness. Being able to smile and accept life is so important. Just being yourself and become the best you, you can be. Those are all factors of happiness to me.

Me as a child smiling and making my family laugh.

Who do I admire?

I admire Percy Jackson and Leo Valdez. They are fictional characters from book series including, "The Heroes of Olympus," "Percy Jackson and the Olympians," "The Trials of Apollo," and more! I've admired them since I was a child and I still do. Percy Jackson has qualities that I admire, he cares about his friends and family, and fights for what he believes in. He has a great sense of humor, is brave, heroic, and always tries to find another way. Leo Valdez is so funny and carefree, he always makes people laugh or smile. He was considered the "seventh wheel" for a while which made him depressed but he fought his way through with a grin and finally found himself. Their character is so important to me because I want to have personality and positivity like them.

What do I want to contribute to the world?

Hibah (left) and Aleezay (right)

I want to contribute happiness and positivity to the world. Everyone I meet I want them to feel good about themselves because everyone is beautiful and unique in their own way. Being cheerful and hopeful is the key to becoming happy with you and the world. I want to inspire people to be good and do good. How I will inspire people? I don't know yet, but lets see what the future has in store for me.

What would I like to be able to tell my grandchildren I had done?

I would like to tell them that I helped the less fortunate by helping out and making organizations. I would like to tell them that I won a Nobel prize for best fiction book of the year and I worked hard to accomplish my dreams. I would like to tell them I’ve traveled to every continent and made people smile everywhere. I would tell them that even in the toughest situations, you always have to do the right thing.

If everything were to go as well as possible, what would life look like at 30?

I would be married, have kids, a well paid job that I enjoy, enough money to be able to travel around the world, live in England or Canada with a British accent, and have two cats. I would like to live in Canada because I know quite a few people who live there and I was born there. If that doesn't happen I would love to live in England since I've always wanted to live there. I would also like pet cats because many of my friends and family have them and they're so adorable!

What is my purpose in life right now?

As a thirteen year old, I believe my purpose in life is to learn from my mistakes to become wiser in the future. My purpose is to be kind and respectful to brighten peoples day. To work hard at school and become something in the future so it won't be as hard. I just want everyone to smile and feel good about themselves. To remind everyone about the golden rule, treat people the way you want to be treated. Maybe in the next year or decade my perspective on my purpose in life will change, but this is what I think my purpose is now.
