Monkton Park Newsletter Friday 16th January 2020

Good luck!

We wave a fond farewell to Mrs Rishworth (Squirrels class TA) today as she starts her retirement. Mrs Rishworth made a real impact with the children and we would like to wish her the very best of luck for the future.

Mid Year Reports

Pupils in Y1 to Y6 will be bringing home their mid year report tonight. The report provides scores that pupils achieved in their tests before Christmas (Y2 to Y5 only), a teacher assessment and attendance information for the year so far. We hope that this is a useful document to receive before parents evening next week. Please note that if there is a blank space, this means your child did not take the test. Class teachers will be more than happy to answer any further questions you may have with regards to your child's attainment and progress.

To enrich our PSHE curriculum, each class has a chosen charity they wish to support this year. The children will be holding cakes sales and further fundraising activities. Below is each class charity. Dates for the cake sales will follow.

FOMPS Party Packs

Are you planning to organise a party for your little one(s) this year and will need to source plasticware for the occasion?

FOMPS have good quality plastic cups, plates and jugs in storage, which we would be happy to loan out to parents and/or guardians for a small fee so you don't have to buy them in new. Please get in touch with us via FOMPSpta@gmail.com if you think we might be able to help you out.
