Lesson planning, teaching skills, nutrition, and menu planning are learned in the classroom and applied when students begin working with children three to five years of age in Maxwell's Early Childhood Lab.
Note: The State of Georgia requires all employees in Georgia child care facilities (ie: students enrolled in Maxwell's Early Childhood Education Program, ECE) to undergo a national criminal background check. Students enrolled in ECE will be subject to the rule. The cost of the background check will be covered by the ECE program for those students accepted into the program.

My name is Jennifer Mundy and I have been teaching in Gwinnett County since 2003. I began teaching at Maxwell HS in 2014 but, I am not new to Maxwell! I actually was a student in the Early Childhood Education program as a senior in high school. It is a wonderful opportunity to return to the place that started my career in education.
I spent 11 years teaching kindergarten at Lawrenceville Elementary. I feel the knowledge I bring from being a teacher in an early childhood classroom is a benefit to the high school students I am now teaching.
I graduated from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia. I then continued my education at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, Georgia where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education. I earned my Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy Instruction through Walden University. I earned my Educational Specialist Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia.
I now live in Loganville with my cat- Roxy and my dog- Loki. I love watching UGA football (Go Dawgs!) and hanging out with my friends and family. In my free time I can be found with my Kindle reading a book or in the kitchen baking!
If you need to contact me feel free to call me or email me. I will get back to you as soon as I can.

My name is Karey McFall and I have been teaching in Gwinnett County since 2002. I began teaching at Maxwell High School in 2017 and I am excited to share my seventeen years of experience with future educators. I spent fifteen years teaching Kindergarten and before that I taught second grade. As a second grader I knew that I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up and now I have the opportunity to allow high school students a wonderful hands on experience.
I grew up in Gwinnett County and graduated from North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia. I then continued my education at Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia where I received my Bachelor’s of Education. I earned my Master’s Degree in Reading and Literacy Instruction through Walden University. I completed my Specialist Degree in Leadership Instruction from Lincoln Memorial in Tennessee.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and we have two children, Austin and Ella, and we live in Dacula. When I am not teaching I enjoy traveling, hanging out with family and friends, watching my son play baseball, Ella cheer, and playing with our dogs, Lady and Izzy.
If you need to contact me please feel free to call me or email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can! I look forward to working with you this year!
