Cyclones Fend Off K-State Rally ISU downs wildcats, 70-65; improve to 5-3 in big 12

Matt Thomas found his spot against the Wildcats, anywhere outside the 3-point line. Thomas hit a career-high seven threes to finish with 25 points, the most in his career. Thomas has now made 210 career threes.
Deonte Burton scored just nine points, but he grabbed six rebounds and had three steals to go along with a career-high four blocks, including two in the final minute.
Monte Morris was also in double figures with 12 points. He enters Saturday's game at Vanderbilt just three assists from breaking the career record held by Jeff Hornacek.
Nazareth Mitrou-Long was the only other Cyclone in double figures. He hit 3-of-5 threes and finished with 13 points.
