Hernando De Soto was born in Spain and explored for Spain
This exploration helped Spain by conquering Peru, but needless to say, this didn't work out well for the natives.
He explored in the years 1514-1542. He had three voyages , the first one lasted a 2 years, the second one lasted a year , and the last one lasted from 1548 to his death
