In a little over a month, I will be flying to Ghana with 8 wonderful friends who have chosen to share their love and compassion with the people of Accra. With open hearts we hope to spread our love to Northern Ghana. To an area near Tamale named the Gushihiegu Witch Refugee Camp. The refugees there are women who have been wrongfully accused. They have been tortured, tormented, abused and excommunicated from their villages. Some of them murdered. Our teams goal is to bring them hope. To show them and tell them, "You are not alone,""We care about you,""We advocate for you!" We will not only be giving these women our support, but we will be gifting them with Bibles in their own language and handmade quilts.
I feel so fortunate to be able to support these women and be a part of this wonderful team from Saddleback church. There is no better purpose than to give to others.; to shine a light where there is so much darkness. I am still in need of financial assistance. Any amount helps. If you want to help please follow the link below. Thank you so much for your support! From the bottom of my heart, I cannot express to you how much this trip means to me.
