A Year in Review BIJA 2016

We opened the homestead

We played outside in all weather

We read books together

We learned to clean up

We made the playhouse our home

and connected with Vishnu

We turned into ART!

We jumped in puddles

We stretched our bodies

We practiced street safety

We took homesteading to the next level

We practiced life skills

And our independence, too!

We looked closely at nature

We played at the beach

we began to understand the meaning of social justice

We ate our meals with one another

We picked apples upstate

And held hands on the farm

We danced, and danced and danced some more!

Then learned to quiet our bodies

We opened the Bija Fund

and raised enough for 9 weeks of free summer camp For children in our community!

We explored art materials

We learned to Support each other

We couldn’t have done it without you.

We’re committed more than ever to serving our communities through education, action, love and inclusion.
