Comparison of the son and moon By:HeaveN

The Sun generates solar wind.

The Sun has a very strong magnetic field.

The distance from the Sun to Earth changes throughout the year.

The Sun travels at 220 kilometres per second.

Light from the Sun takes eight minutes to reach Earth.

The Sun will one day be about the size of Earth

A person would weigh much less on the Moon. The rise and fall of the tides on Earth is caused by the Moon. The moon reflects the light of the sun, shining a small glimpse of light at night. Our sun gives life to all forms in our solar system. The Earth also gives and supports life as we know it. Whereas the moon does not support life on the Earth.Apr 19, 2013

Another "simple" thing that is a simple comparison is that both the sun and moon provide light.
