Allen Rasmussen, associate vice president for research and dean of graduate studies, met with Dr. Qixing Zhou, dean for the College of Environmental Science and Engineering at Nankai University. The meeting sought to promote a better understanding of each other’s administrative responsibilities at the university/college level, in an exchange of ideas and goals. While on campus, Zhou also plans to discuss research collaborations in ecological science, environmental science and environmental engineering with A&M-Kingsville faculty members, and explore the likelihood of developing graduate education programs.
