J.R. Briggs Family Newsletter December 12, 2018

J.R. Briggs Annual Winter Concert is Thursday, December 13th at 7:00 PM

I would like to personally thank all of the parents/guardians for your extreme patience on Tuesday. We had an unplanned evacuation of the school at just about the worst time possible, dismissal. The Ashburnham Fire Department was able to pinpoint the issue quickly and students were back in the building as promptly as possible. Thankfully no one was in danger as the issue was simply a malfunctioning CO reader. The students and staff did a great job staying calm while outside, and they were very prompt to get to their dismissal spots once we were back inside.

A Message From Mrs. Brown

On behalf of the Ashburnham Community Church and People‛s Church I‛d like to thank Mr. Berg for organizing the annual "Turkey Trot" and the students, staff, administration, teachers and their families and friends for over 500 non-perishable food items collected and delivered to Ashburnham‛s food pantries. Your donations help us provide hearty food staples for over 40 local families, in need, this holiday season. With rising costs for heating oil and basic staples families are finding it hard to make ends meet. We thank you, once again, for your generous giving and your continued support!
