Spirit Week - Short and Sweet!

Students in grades 6-12 had dress downs and activities in the gym and Commons last week. A snow day on Tuesday meant that we missed seeing some "tacky tourists" roaming the halls, but they still had some great looks for the other days. A special thanks to Norway Savings Bank Arena and Central Maine Community College for hosting activities on Friday afternoon for the students! If you have more Spirit Week photos to share, please send them to Nicole at Nicole.adams@portlanddiocese.org.

Key Club Impacts Hundreds of Individuals

Our Saints Key Clubbers under the direction of moderator Pam Kay and student Key Club President, Lucy Frenette, will carry on the club's tradition of providing service these upcoming holidays.

Key Club is sponsoring a dress down day on Friday, November 22 for students who donate food to SEARCH, a Catholic Charities program for area seniors on a limited income. Specific non-perishable food items have been assigned by grade level. Students should see their homeroom teacher for this information. The cost to students if you choose not to bring the food item is $3 for jeans and $5 for athletic gear.

By its appearance at the Grandparents mass on November 27, the Key Club’s annual Giving Tree will bring forth the true spirit of the Christmas season. Tags on the tree will represent the basic needs and some “wants” of approximately 30 very needy area children, some of which are homeless. If any school club, individual or family would like to adopt 1 or more children, please contact Pam Kay at pamela.kay@portlanddiocese.org or Giving Tree project manager, Lucy Frenette at lucyfrenette35@icloud.com.
