About

June 2022 Update: Concert dates to be announced soon! Have a great summer!

The K-8 Charlotte Central School Music Department consists of required classes at the elementary level and optional ensemble choices at the middle school level. All students in K-4 receive General Music, and students may choose to join Band and/or Chorus, or General Music in 5-8. In addition, students can choose to join jazz band or concert choir, which all rehearse outside the regular school day. Being a part of the CCS music tradition is a vital part of a child's growth musically and personally. We strive for excellence, perseverance, and a growth mindset for learning.
