Hi, I'm Dan and I'm from Adelaide. I've just finished year 12 at a private school and am now going to University of Adelaide to study a degree. Both my parents have great jobs and can financially support me throughout my whole University degree. I'm not worried about money at all, since my family can pay for everything I need.
Hi, I'm Jane and I'm from Port Lincoln. It's always been a dream of mine to go to the University of Adelaide, but my mum is currently unemployed so I have to work at a small café that only pays minimum wage. At the moment I don’t think I have the time to go to uni, but I know if I got a degree I’d be able to get a better job that could help not only me but my family. If only there was a way for my mum to earn enough money to support me and my sister, then I could go to uni. I hear a lot of politicians talking about wealth, income and wage gaps, but they don’t do anything to fix it.
