ABOUT UWS

United Women’s Soccer (UWS) is a national pro-am league composed of professionally operated clubs within the United States and Canada. UWS provides high level competition for college players, aspiring and former professionals, and international stars.

FILLING THE GAP

The overarching goal of UWS is to achieve equality of opportunity for women’s soccer. In a time where there are several professional and amateur leagues for men’s soccer across North America, there is a huge gap that exists between the college and professional ranks on the women’s side. UWS fills that gap by providing a pathway to pro for the amateur player.

We are committed to providing opportunities for all females to meet their needs in achieving their potential as players, while ensuring participation can be maximized within our structure. This is a very exciting venture for our entire organization to undertake and we are thankful for Troye in guiding us at this step.

Impact FC (UWS) Head Coach / General Manager

This is a significant opportunity for women in the game at all levels, it is an extension of our pathway and one in which we aspire to facilitate opportunity for female players, coaches, officials and more. We will ensure accessibility for all within our region and are excited to work with our governing bodies to ensure this intent is acted upon. I can not express enough how excited I am for what is the near future, lots of work to do but based on my previous experience in the league with the Foothills WFC franchise I know the standard offered by the league, the conference and all the people behind the scene is truly next level. Special thanks to SASA, ASA, CSA, UWS for all the support in this process.
