Use your normal credentials.
Not sure which to use?
Users migrated to Shared IT Services (OT, DOVS, PT, ENT, PEDS, PACS, NSURG, SCC, EM, NEURO, DOM) will log in with your WUSTL Key credentials.
Users in non-migrated Departments will log in with your usual domain credentials (e.g. WUDOSIS, FPP, PSYCH, etc.).
Users who travel between departments will log in with your usual credentials, but precede your User ID with your domain. Example: A Surgery staff member logs into a DOM computer as WUDOSIS\WudosisUserID.
Use your WUSTL Key.
Not sure how to start?
Locate the Epic Portal shortcut, located on your computer's desktop, or on your virtual desktop.
You may need to allow Citrix to run Epic on your computer. Click Do not Show me option to avoid seeing this pop-up again.
Log in with your WUSTL Key in the Citrix StoreFront. Your Domain is accounts.ad.wustl.edu.
Look for the Epic PRD Hyperspace icon.
Virtual desktops may request that you enroll your credentials in Imprivata for the Epic Warp Drive. Log in with your WUSTL Key.
Logging in from a remote location?
You must use a VPN connection if you do not have access to a secure WashU or BJC network connection. Additionally, your computer must have the Citrix client installed to run Epic. (Exception: Users who have access to a virtual desktop can usually log into their virtual environment without starting VPN first. For example, Epic is installed on desktops accessed at itcrds.wustl.edu (IE only) and at domremote.dom.wustl.edu).
If you are accessing Epic on your own computer, open a browser to this location: https://epic-storefront.et0965.epichosted.com/Citrix/EpicWeb/
Your computer will need to have Citrix installed to run Epic. Download the correct version here.
Use the credentials from your M*Modal class.
Not sure how to start?
Double-click the M*Modal icon on your desktop (if available). You may be logged in automatically. Instructions for logging in manually are below.
M*Modal Manual Login
Click the gray Please sign in button on your desktop. Login with your M*Modal credentials, preceded by domain name. For WUSTL Key login, the domain is ACCOUNTS. For others, see the table below.
Signing out of M*Modal
If you signed into M*Modal manually on a shared computer, it is very important that you sign out of M*Modal when leaving.
