Human impact ON PHYSICAL WEATHERING BY WATER

Claim- Often times humans are accused of only negatively affecting the environment, but humans can take steps to slow and prevent physical weathering by wind and water.

Rationale- Wind and water create and increase landscape erosion, soil erosion, and erosion by water. Water will wash away many beaches and shorelines as erosion continues. Wind impacts the shape of the land and causes the landscape to drastically change.

Solutions- Humans can build more dams to prevent further water erosion and contain and preserve the water in lakes and other bodies of water.

To slow and prevent soil weathering and erosion humans can plant more trees and foliage to block the wind and ground the surrounding soil.
