Pre - Wedding Shoot at Avenham Park Preston - Lancashire

The fabulous Paul & Rachel...

It was Rachel & Paul’s Pre Wedding Shoot a few days ago in preparation for their big day in March. We were all looking forward to the day even though the weather was a bit glum and rainy. We met up at the Continental Pub and headed off to Avenham Park where there is a lot of cover. We carried on to the covered pergola to start off with a few relaxed shots as they chatted and danced with each other.

I always find that if I just chatter away and joke and laugh with the bride and grooms to be, they really loosen up. But, these cats were as cool as cool could be, no nerves whatsoever. I like to amble off in front of the couple and get some natural talking/ walking/hand-in-hand shots which always look nice. We managed to lose the umbrellas as it finally stopped raining so we ventured around the more open aspects of Avenham Park.

As time was moving on we decided to have a coffee/wine/ crisp break in the Continental...and why not! We waited for the sun to set so we could head off into Preston City Central for a long exposure shot with car trails in the background for a cool urban effect. We did about 10 shots and decided the last one was the look we were going for.

You can't beat a super reflection photograph.
Paul & Rachel kept still for 10 seconds in this shot so we could capture the car trails in the background. They did an absolute sterling job I must say. Thank you for an awesome shoot you guys!!!
