How do you feel about receiving this scholarship in memory of Mr. Barry McClure?
Receiving a scholarship in memory of someone like Mr. McClure makes It seem more personal and that means a lot to me.
How did you feel when you got the news?
I was happy. It was really nice to be selected as a recipient of this scholarship. Scholarship awards really make a difference, especially when you receive one in your last semester of college. I had the lottery scholarship, but that's only available for four years and this is my fifth year because I studied Abroad.
Freed studied in Nijmegen, Netherlands for two semesters during his junior year.
