Choirs A Photographic journey of youth choral music

One of my photographic interests is event photography. This genre of photography captures memories of key and important activities that span everything from milestone birthdays to graduations to an important sports game, etc. The list is endless and the memories created are priceless to those participating in these events and to those who could not be there to witness them. The mission of event photography is to capture and preserve those important memories.

Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of photographing youth choirs in the city of Ottawa which have provided choral music for important events in the city as well as singing for the joy of presenting music to the citizens of Canada's capital. This portfolio of photographs shows two choirs I have provided photographic services for: the Ottawa Children's Choir (OCC) and the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir (ORYC).

The OCC Chamber Choir had the privilege of singing at the Remembrance Day ceremony in the chamber of the Senate of Canada.

Most OCC music is performed in concert settings for the public's listening pleasure.
