Top 2 Flags

Congratulations to the top two flag design winners!

Designs by Ashley Kretzschmer and Laura Hartman came out ahead in the popular vote. Thank you to each and every one who submitted designs and cast a vote, whether online or by paper ballot. We had over 40 entries, which were narrowed to the top 5 by the flag committee as stated in the contest rules. The Top 5 designs went to public vote in order to narrow down to top 2, with over 500 total votes cast.

City Council will decide the final flag design.

The council reviewed the top two submissions on August 4th, and asked for some possible modifications per the flag entry rules. You can listen to the discussion in the council video here, starting around the 28 minute mark. Stay tuned for the final version to be announced later this month.
