Dinner time

We were treated to a delicious home made meal prepared in an underground oven. We also met our host Ahmed (left) who told us fascinating stories about Bedouin culture and how him and his brothers grew up on this land.

The Camp Site

Waking up early to see the full beauty of the camp

The facilities and accommodation

Comfortable beds, clean sheets and proper tents made our stay warm and cozy.
After a short drive, we were off on a hike around the area
Lots of exploring and enjoying the Martian landscape

Lunch time!

Yousef surprised us with a freshly made lunch! Mixed vegetables, Arabic bread, Tuna salad all made by the side of his car!

Our last night watching the stars go by.
Saying goodbye to the wonderful staff at Rum Stars who gave us a home away from home with fantastic Bedouin hospitality. If you only visit Wadi Rum once, make sure you stay at Rum Stars Camp!
