Merry Christmas From the Family BY: TYLER BREEDEN

I made myself go to the party
Uncle Joe brought his seventh wife
Cousin Bobby thought it best to stand under the mistletoe
My brother kept his special stuff in his boot
Merry Christmas from the family
Our turkey seemed more like a pigeon
The cookies could be used to play hockey
Only thing I could stomach was the potatoes
The toast of celebration sounded like a blast from the past
Merry Christmas from the family
Eventually we gathered around the skinny tree
Grandma bought me socks again
Dad gave mom the same present for three straight years
It's ok though, I have all the coal I need
Merry Christmas from the family
