THE GREAT DEPRESSION America in the 1930's

The Great Depression was a time when money was hard to get the stock market had crashed and many people were living in poverty.

The Great Depression started in 1929 the stocks had crashed

The Great Depression lasted about 10 years

Most Americans were jobless and couldn't afford food

The Great Depression also put 13-15 million people out of a job

Most businesses had workers but the went on strike this caused buissneses to go out of buissness

The government was spending billions to get America relived
