Profiles GROUP 10

Hi, I’m Hannah Hunter, I was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 2003. I started at Kincoppal- Rose Bay in year 4 as a day girl. I have parents, three older brothers, a cat and a dog. My favourite colour is pink or blue, I like making movies and editing them for people to enjoy. My favourite sports are netball, karate and tennis. I have enjoyed Project based learning, my favourite part was making the documentary as I got to go to parts of the school i haven’t been to before.

Hi, I’m Michaela Sorrenti, and I am a day girl at Kincoppal-Rose Bay. I started at KRB in the prep class of 2008 and have been here ever since. I am thirteen years old and in year 7. I have enjoyed the Project Based Learning, and have learnt so much about the boarding school and KRB history. We did many tasks like this in junior school but haven’t had a chance to in high school, so I’m very glad we did. Making the documentary was my favourite part because we got to film in all different areas of the school and import footage from 60 years ago.

Hi I’m Caitlin McCarthy i was born in Stockholm,Sweden in 2003.I have 2 siblings and a dog, i started school in 2009, at Mcauley primary school in Rose-Bay.In year 7 i moved to Kincoppal Rose-Bay.Doing this project has been a bit challenging, this has helped us with socialising with others and we have expanded our knowledge about the school. This is a great way to help children learn more about their school in a fun and interactive way. Making the documentary was very fun and making the poster tested you skills in design, this was a fun way to express your creativity to your group.

Hi,I’m Celina Calabrese and I was born in Sydney Australia 2004. I moved to krb at the start of this year and I am day student.I’m 12 years old and I’m currently in year 7. I enjoyed project based learning as it was interesting and educational.I also developed many skills such as compromising, creating websites using Spark and interpreting creativity into our work .Overall I believe PBL has been very successful and I can't wait to do it again next year.
