Shedworking Working in the garden is good for the soul

May sees the cherry blossom right outside my office window

Very pleasant

And Summer sees the ever-expanding clematis cover more and more of my garden fence

The peace lilies and ferns come back stronger year after year and last almost all summer

Meanwhile, inside the shed, the orders come in thick and fast...

Little prints like this...

Or this

or bigger ones Like this one...

Or this one....

Or even these Signed & numbered A3 prints are being rolled, tubed & dispatched to customers all over the world

There is much I miss about the 9-5 life. Good coffee shops, nodding to acquaintances & colleagues on my way into work, A bit of banter with workmates before the day begins. Seems like a lifetime ago when that was my day to day. Now I've got the tranquil solitude of my little blue shed at the bottom of the garden. It may be quiet and a little chilly in winter, but summer is just great. Leave the office door ajar, breathe in the clean sea air and watch the flowers bloom around you while the kids play on the lawn. What's that? You'll need me to work late? Okay, not really a problem...
