Learning Journal Skill Builder: Digital Video

Class 2

Slowly I get more and more familiar with Premiere Pro ... and it's fun. I'll tried out some effects and transitions and experimented with the Video effects. (I liked it that much, so I also finished a second video about the women in my family:-)

As in class 1 it was time-consuming to get some free videos of Vienna. I'll recommend you flickr.com where I made a find.

I added an icon (from the noun project) to the first frame which I edited in Illustrator and - last but not least - created the title and finished my video.

See you in Vienna:-)

Class 1

This is my first learning journal, which I do for myself. I have some positive experience with learning journals in my classrooms but never used it for my own. Spark is an excellent tool and I'll try to integrate some creativity:-)

15" Vacation Commercial

This assignment was tricky because of the 15 seconds...

I spent some time to find the right music, images and video clips, all under Creative Commons licenses.

  • thenounproect.com
  • avopix.com
  • www.pexels.com

  • opsound.org
  • When I had enough stuff I started with Audition to get the 15" basis.
  • Then I started Premiere Pro and imported the clips. The last months I've created some simple videos with Premiere and so I'll tried something new. For this I've watched some You Tube tuts and tried out some (for me) new features.
  • After this I experimented with sound and clips and how to cross-fade.
Here is the result:-)

At last I uploaded my work to Vimeo: Servus in Vienna - the password is dino1992.
