FINDINGS
- Themes from our research
"As an education major I was able to talk to the teachers at the elementary school and will be reaching out to them in the near future."
- Major-related service projects proved to be helpful
- Student Athletes who were not in major related to service project felt like their time was somewhat wasted
"I'm not going to be a doctor... visiting the kids made me feel good but no it didn't give me ideas as to my future career"
This is not all bad however.
"I never understood how much I cared about children until I went on one of the service projects .... It made me change my minor"
