Sierra Hoover Auyuittuq National Park of Canada

Day:1 We hike up mount Thor which was a shocking 5,495 foot vertical climb. The worlds tallest cliff face is on mount Thor. After getting to the top we took a 5.3 mile hike to summit lake.

Day:2 We went skiing on the Akshayuk Pass which is a traverse an the southern portion of the national park. Windslab is common, snow cover is variable, and deep powder is very rare so it is not for those who seek an alpine powder snow experience.

Day:3 We went Backcountry camping in a valley. We pitched a tent and made are food on are gas stove since fires were not allowed and made s'mores over the stove. We heard a polar bear outside are tent when we were getting ready for bed.
