BBFA Football Fund Supporting development of new teams Season 2016/17
Through last years 2015/16 football fund we received 27 successful applications that supported the generation of 27 NEW teams from mini soccer to Adult 11v11.
Last year our Football Fund was there to support the growth of NEW teams across all age groups where there were gaps in provisions within clubs and there to support the creation of any NEW team for season 2015/16. This is a fantastic opportunity for FA Charter Standard clubs who are looking to develop new teams.

As long as you are an FA Charter Standard Club you can access our funding to support the growth of a NEW team, clubs must also be affliated to Berks & Bucks FA. (Applications are limited to 1 team application per club).
This year our football fund is open from Mon 1st Feb & to support 18 NEW teams 16+. For any clubs wanting to support the transition from youth to Adult football or for the creation of any new adult team.

NEW U7 TEAM, Golden Eagles FC
THEY ARE REALLY ENJOYING THEIR FOOTBALL. THEY WON THEIR MINI LEAGUE AND ARE PLAYING THE WINNERS OF ANOTHER MINI LEAGUE ON SUNDAY. Liz Barnett, Golden Eagles FC Club secretary.
NEW U10 TEAM, Tilehurst Panthers FC
Tilehurst Panthers FC put the money towards creating promotional literature that we circulated through the local schools to help recruit players.
With any new team we required equipment such as bibs, cones and footballs, the money helped setup our new team with the right equipment from the outset. A huge thank you for the money that was sent to us to help us develop as a club and get as many young girls into football in the Reading area. Craig Adams, Club Commercial & Sponsorship Officer.
NEW U7 Team, Cold Ash Boys & Girls FC
The funding we received from the BBFA Football Fund helped us in establishing an U7 team for season 2015/16, we now have 16 players in the squad and fielding 2 FIVE a side teams in the RWBL each Sunday. Thank you, Steve Bartlett Club Secretary, Cold Ash Boys & Girls FC.

NEW U18 Team, Newport Pagnell Town FC
The BBFA Football Fund helped us support the transition of a youth team into adult football with the development of a NEW U18 team. We provided a second shirt, training tops and the rest has gone towards paying for our winter training on a 3G pitch which helped greatly in retaining the players. On behalf of the team, thank you very much. Mark Keen, Assistant Manager & Administrator, Newport Pagnell Town FC U18 Swans Ladies.

New U16 Team, Letcombe FC
The money was invaluable, setting up a new team is expensive, new set of kit, insurance, footballs, referees, affiliation and entry fees & hire of training facilities, help from the BBFA Football Fund made a lot of difference. We are very grateful for this. Des Williams, Letcombe FC Club Secretary.
