With Christmas in the rearview mirror and the new year a few years old, Ottawa 67's hockey returned to the Arena at TD Place this weekend.
67's captain Travis Barron leads his team into action against the Kingston Frontenacs on Saturday.
PRE-GAME AND WARMUPS...
After taking a couple months off from his coaching duties for health reasons, 67s' Head Coach and General Manager Jeff Brown was back behind the bench this weekend.

Sasha Chmelevski, above, has 15 goals and 26 points in 31 games for the Barber Poles this season.
Ottawa's offence was too much for the Frontenacs on Saturday and the 67's claimed a 6-2 win. The goals came from Austen Keating, Nolan Gardiner, Artur Tyanulin, Travis Barron, Tye Felhaber and Patrick White. Meanwhile, goalie Leo Lazarev, below, made 43 saves to pick up the win.
The 67's were back at it Sunday, this time hosting the North Bay Battalion. Despite a hard-fought effort and another strong goaltending perfomance, this time courtesy of Oliver Lafreniere, Ottawa fell 2-1. Here are a few shots of the action from Sunday.
