[9/19] - Meehan and the Mocs Do it Again: No. 18 Florida Southern Downs No. 14 Rollins 2-0 on a Long Night at Moccasin Field ... A lengthy weather delay midway through the first half proved to be only a temporary stoppage to the Florida Southern men's soccer team, and any fears it may have killed the momentum provided by a James Meehan goal just before it were unfounded. Not long after play resumed following an hour and 45-minute delay, Meehan scored again for the Moccasins, sending them to a 2-0 win over 14th-ranked Rollins at Moccasin Field Wednesday night (read more).

[9/21] - Top-20 Soccer Moments at Barnett Field, #14 (September 14, 2003) ... If you watch enough soccer, or listen to enough commentators in televised matches, at some point you will hear someone refer to 2-0 as the most dangerous score in the game. That may well be true in the first half, but the later into the second half that one side still holds a two-goal lead, the safer it becomes. It doesn't take much deductive reasoning to figure that out, and a recent analysis of English Premier League games showed just how challenging it was to win after trailing 2-0 at any point in a game, much less the second half. We'll spare you the full breakdown, but the study revealed that a team's chances of winning dwindle to around 1% after halftime. In the final 30 minutes, it was even less (read more).

[9/22] - Winning Streak Hits Seven as Florida Southern Men’s Soccer Team Takes Down Saint Leo, 3-1 ... Christoph Gums scored the first goal of the match midway through the first half, and then combined with Eneko Lasheras to give the Moccasins two short-handed goals in the second half as No. 18 Florida Southern remained undefeated with a 3-1 win Saturday night at Saint Leo (read more).

[9/19] - Florida Southern Falls at Rollins in First SSC Road Match of 2018 ... [9/22] - Moccasins Tame Lions for First Home Victory of 2018 ... Florida Southern College women's soccer picked up its first SSC and home victory on Saturday night. The Moccasins (3-5-1, 1-2-0 SSC) used an early first-half goal by Junior Alexa Moberley to defeat Saint Leo (2-5-0, 1-2-0 SSC) 3-0 on Saturday night at Moccasin Field (read more).

[9/21] - Mocs Push Home Win Streak to 22 in 3-2 Victory Over ERAU ... Three different players tallied double-digit kill totals and Florida Southern College volleyball overcame a pesky Embry-Riddle squad to pick up a 3-2 victory on Friday at Jenkins Field House. The Moccasins (7-6, 2-3 SSC) extended their home winning streak to a whopping 22-straight matches and snapped a three-game skid in Sunshine State Conference play with the win over the Eagles (8-4, 2-3). Early on, it appeared the Mocs would roll to the win after taking the first two sets, but ERAU won sets three and four to force a winner-take-all fifth set (read more).

[9/22] - Volleyball Sweeps Florida Tech to Cap Perfect Weekend ... Florida Southern College volleyball ran its home winning streak to 23-straight matches in a dominant 3-0 win over visiting Florida Tech in Sunshine State Conference action on Saturday at Jenkins Field House. The Moccasins (8-6, 3-3 SSC) rolled to a 25-7 win in the first set and used that momentum to pick up their second win of the weekend. The Panthers (4-10, 1-5) dropped their third-straight contest (read more).
