Microsoft Windows Luke Greider

The Microsoft Company developed Windows operating system in 1985, starting with Windows 1.0. Now it is the most used commercial operating system around the world. Now after several iterations, Windows 10 has been the latest release. With some editions being received poorly, most have been met with success.

Windows XP, released in 2001, was one of the most well received OS's.

Windows has been rivaled by Macintosh OS's for many years, but has remained the primary Operating System. It is used on PCs, Tablets, Phones, and even Xbox One Consoles.

Windows Editions are as follows, in chronological order:

  • Windows 1.0
  • Windows 2.0
