" Flipping classroom" has been popular lately. Especially for my students who has different learning pace, to find ways and create learning material that they can do the review outside classroom has become my passion. I have been searching such tools for years and have tried many different apps. However, they are good but not great!

Recently, I finally found an app that meets most my needs and the best part of it, it is easy to share! The app is called Tinytap. It allows me to create lessons, interactive stories, and quizzes.

For kindergarteners, the unit they are learning is forest animals and the sentence pattern that they have been practicing is "this is .... that is..." Therefore, I created this interactive story that starts from the forest is on fire and the mission is to save all the animals from the fire. The students will listen to the beginning of the story and needs to drag the animal to practice the learned sentence patterns.

For first graders, they are learning new phrases, such as my hair is this long, my dog is this cute and I am hiding under the chair. The students are able to review these learned material by playing this game.

Students listen to the description to the animal and make a guess what forest animal it is! It is a fun game to train your students' ears!

Third graders, they are learning clothing. By reading the description to each mom, the students can make a guess which mom fits the description.
