Welcome back. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your family and friends and made the most of some lovely weather. We have had a great start to term 2 and the team are loving having all the children back. We can't wait to see you all at parent teacher interviews to celebrate student achievement together.

We are very pleased to report our roll is growing rapidly and this month we welcome Miss Kelly Simpson who will open a new entrant classroom in A3.

Stardome Trips

As part of the Y2-Y6 School Science inquiry, students will be visiting the Stardome to help them investigate and learn about Planet Earth and Beyond. While there, the students will be taking part in activities with their teachers and also with educators provided by the Stardome. These activities will allow the children to ask questions that will help them form their inquiries and it gives them the opportunity to experience concepts and ideas of astronomy and how amazing space is!

Students will need to bring a snack, a drink of water and a rain jacket, depending on the weather. The School Lunches Programme will provide trip food on this day, so the only food children need to bring is a big snack.

We will travel by bus, leaving school at 9am, so please ensure your child is at school on time.

Our school is covering the cost of this trip through the school donations scheme that our school is part of.
