San Diego has the highest percentage of veterans in the workforce in the country, is home to the largest concentration of military personnel and has scores of defense contractors. The San Diego Business Journal, in partnership with The Rosie Network, will celebrate and support local veteran entrepreneurs and military spouses with a new awards program and educational conference.

2017 Best Entrepreneur, Nonprofit Organization, David Charbonnet was a patient at VIP NeuroRehabilitation Center before becoming its CEO.

The conference will include panel discussions on:

  • Franchise – A Path to Entrepreneurship
  • Purpose, Core Values and Your BHAG
  • Access to Capital and Managing for the Future
  • Legal 101 – What Every Small Business Needs to Know

The conference is free to active duty, veterans and military spouses with military ID.
