#GivingTuesday Judson is giving

This Christmas season Judson is giving to those who need it most. We understand that we cannot touch every child, but we can do our part. Our impact has continued to be felt abroad. In November, each family at Judson annually receives a box to fill for Operation Christmas Child that not only provide children in need around the world with school supplies, personal hygiene items, and toys, they help share the Good News of the Gospel. Our collection commenced November 18th. We extend deep appreciation for the support of our teachers and a special thanks for all of our wonderful families who helped ensure that those overseas who will be suffering tremendous lack this holiday season have a smile on Christmas morning.

Thank you, Judson families

We have not stop giving but continued to spread Christmas cheer by making care packages for the homeless filled with much needed daily care items. These packages were sent home to our families to distribute with love and prayer.

Our children give and pray for the homeless

As we continue to give this Christmas, we are supporting one of our own, who recommended a charity whose work help saved their life. The Cure JM Foundation was established in October 2003 by Shari Hume, Tom Hume and Lisa Felix, all parents of children with JM, and by Harriet Bollar, grandmother of a child with JM. They were brought together only by circumstance, but with the same determination to find a cure for Juvenile Myositis. Their ultimate goal was to eradicate JM, so that no child would ever have to suffer from this insidious disease again. We chose this foundation in honor of our staff member, Chris Graves, who suffered from the disease as a child and was miraculously healed. The Graves family was blessed by Cure JM and has been an ongoing organizing family for the foundation’s annual Christmas drive, hosted by Hollywood producer, Dave Venghaus. The drive annually gifts children at the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital (LACH) with toys and presents to bring them joy and help elevate the burden that families with hospitalized children face.

Support Judson

On Sunday, December 18th, we will be presenting a check to help children diagnosed with JM. Our goal is to present a $1000 donation for JM cure research and the LA Children's Hospital classroom that educates the children. We are inviting those who want to continue to show gratitude this season to join us in making our gift happen. We know it isn't much, but would love your support. Join us in making a gift today!

Once again, thank you, Judson!

Want to do more? If you would like to partner in a bigger way, consider making Judson a part of your ongoing benevolence and support. Our goal is to have 100% of our staff, parents, and board participate in giving to our Annual Fund, becoming a Friend of Judson School. We ask our staff and parents to prioritize Judson by personally treating Judson as a top philanthropic priority reflected in an monthly financial gift. This gift of any amount can be deducted from your bank account each month. For more information, please visit SupportJudson.org or call us at 626-276-2477.
