Clockwork How to sketch a clock

Time never stops
We used this photo from an artist which inspired us to sketch our own clocks like the ones below.

How to do it:

Use different types of pencils for different shades. This will help to show the direction of light.

The numbers and letters on the sketching pencils will tell you how soft or hard the lead is: for example 6B is soft so this will give a darker shade than 3H which is harder and it will give a lighter shade. Also, you can press on the paper harder when using a 3H than a 6B.

Then,draw the base of the clock and add all of the detail in.
