assisted reproductive technology is a technology that is used to achieve pregnancy. this technology is mainly used for couples who aren't able to have a child or they simply don't want to do it the natural way (sexual intercourse).

in this diagram the "gift" method was used (Gamete intrafallopian transfer). where the eggs was removed from a female and is placed in a fallopian tube along with the males sperm, then the eggs is put back into the female using a injection.

step 1: the patient gets around 4 tests before the process.
